For several years, my husband & I have been throwing around the idea of starting a Disney blog to spread the Walt Disney World experiences, knowledge, and tips from our many visits to The Happiest Place on Earth. The Mickey Mom blog is our follow-through on that idea.
As Midwest-based DVC Members and Annual Passholders that travel to Disney World multiple times a year, we’ve always thought we could provide a unique perspective not necessarily attainable from Orlando/Florida-based Disney bloggers. Packing up a family and heading south creates a whole new set of challenges and experiences, some of which can be panned for.
On the subject of perspective, becoming a mom has totally changed the way I view and plan our trips. We’re excited to share the ways we’ve come up with to make things run more smoothly for our always large travel party. Whether it’s must-pack items or ways to stretch a dollar, I think you’ll enjoy the ideas and observations we’ll share to make your trip a little easier.
With all of the above said, our family and friends think we’re nerds…but guess who asks for/uses our knowledge the most(you all know who you are).
My husband Mac & I, with our hectic schedules, will both be contributing to this site as often as possible. We both look forward to sharing our experiences and knowledge with you on a regular basis.
