In this edition of The Weekly 5, I’m sharing my list of the 5 best cocktails at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. With its ever increasing alcoholic beverage and bar offerings, Animal Kingdom has quickly become one of our favorite parks to grab drinks on a hot day. Disney Moms and Dads need to have fun too!

Dawa Bar and its awesome Bloody Mary’s will always be number 1 in my heart, but the others on this list are great as well! Check it out:

1Dawa Bloody Mary

Dawa Bloody Mary Dawa Bar - Disney's Animal Kingdom

Ingredients: Snow Leopard Vodka, Loaded Bloody Mary Mix, Worcestershire Sauce, and Horseradish Garnished with Basil and a skewer of Truffle and Blue-Cheese-stuffed Olive and Prosciutto

Dawa Bar serves up some of my favorite cocktails on Disney property, but I especially love their Bloody Marys! The Dawa Bloody Mary is a can’t miss and the perfect way to start off a trip to Animal Kingdom.

2Watermelon Mimosa

Ingredients: Blend of fresh Watermelon Purée and Graham Beck Rosé Brut Sparkling Wine

If you find yourself relaxing at Dawa Bar craving something sweet, not spicy, try the watermelon mimosa! It’s a great drink to cool you down on a hot day.

3Snow Leopard Salvation

Ingredients: Snow Leopard Vodka, Belle de Brillet Pear Liqueur, Mint, and Lime Juice topped with Ginger Beer

On the list of newer places to grab a drink at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the Nomad Lounge. Located alongside Tiffin’s, Nomad Lounge has a drink to please just about everyone! If you’re a fan of Moscow mules then I highly recommend the Snow Leopard Salvation.

4Himalayan Ghost

Ingredients: Snow Leopard Vodka, Guava, and Odwalla® Lemonade

Before getting in line for Expedition Everest I always stop at Thirsty River Bar for a Himalayan Ghost! I’m not the biggest fan of sweet drinks but there’s something about the sweetness of the vodka with bitterness of the lemonade that I can’t resist!

5Mo’ara Margarita

Ingredients: Sauza Conmemorativo Añejo Tequila with Strawberry and Blood Orange flavors topped with Strawberry Boba Balls

With the opening of Pandora, came the newest bar offering at Animal Kingdom, Pongu Pongu Lounge. Pongu Pongu is home to some of the most unique looking drinks at Animal Kingdom including the Mo’ara Margarita. What may appear to be a regular frozen margarita at first glance, is topped with strawberry boba balls giving it a bubbly otherworldly look! Good looks and good flavor, what more could you ask for?!?

If you think Animal Kingdom has better cocktails than these 5, let us know in the comments below!
